My name is Candace and I am a mom, wife, reader, and knitter among other things.  I live in Massachusetts but will be relocating later this year to the Charlotte area.  The first thing I asked my husband about this new job was how many yarn shops there were in the Charlotte area and how close to them we could live.  I have young children and they are perfect to try knitting things out on.  My husband is the happy recipient of hand knit socks and looks forward to having his entire sock wardrobe replaced by knitted ones soon.
